Runs my popup camper with roof A/C
Comment:I bought this generator to run my popup trailer with 13,500 btu roof A/C and accessories. I really like the fold out handle for pulling it around and also that many people don't even realize it's a generator when first looking at it. I have 45' of 30 amp shore cord along with a 30 amp generator adapter. This generator is pretty quiet, you can have a normal conversation when standing next to it. I place the muffler end of the generator facing away from the camper to keep it even quieter. I am able to run this generator with the ESC throttle switch enabled even though the owners manual says to turn it off when running a compressor, etc. I can get about 6 hours of run time when running my roof A/C.

Comment:I just got the XP3150is generator and after giving it a good inspection, I can say I'm very happy with my purchase, it's a good looking unit, everything nicely put together no missing or loose parts the engine compartment and wiring is also nicely done. I added oil and gasoline and after two pulls on the recoil it started right up. The engine sounds and runs just like any other well made model on the market. I'm breaking the engine in right now and have only put a half load on it and it's doing very well, the sound level isn't bad at all even at half load I didn't expect it to be as quiet as a $2300 well know Red generator for only $770 but it's quiet enough. The only thing it's missing is a fuel tank gauge, hour meter and fuel cap air seal off knob. I made a good selection here and saved myself a lot of money, I'm look forward to have this generator around for many years. I would buy it again and recommend it my friends.

Runs my 13,500 RV air conditioner
Comment:I bought this generator to run the 13,500 BTU air conditioner unit in my pop up camper trailer. I have a 50 foot RV shore cord that I plug into this generator with the DuroMax XP3130RV 30A generator to RV adapter. I ran this unit for 3 hours with my RV plugged in and the AC on max fan and cool. Out of curiosity, I then switched the "ESC Throttle" switch to on. The engine slowed down a bit and it was able to handle the AC unit in this mode for another 2 1/2 hours before running out of gas. Even though the instructions say to leave it off when running a compressor... I suspect that I can get over 6 hours of run time if I leave the ESC switch on the whole time. The generator is nice and quiet at 50 feet away. You can also have a normal conversation within a few feet of it. My AC unit is actually louder when I'm at my RV.
